Hi! My name’s Sheerel. I’m a full time college student finishing up an Associates degree in Psychology, winter of 2021. I’m looking for a part-time babysitting position starting as soon as possible. I currently work with elementary age children, grades K-5 at a summer camp in Sunnyside, NY full time during the week. The position is coming to a close on August 20th, and I would love an opportunity to work with children even more before my next semester begins. I have 3+ years experience in general child care, both instructing children of various ages and babysitting/nannying them. I am First Aid/CPR certified. I can swim and I speak three languages: English, Hebrew, and Spanish. I am vaccinated against COVID-19 and willing to provide proof of the following. I can provide my own transportation. My current availability is throughout the week, including the weekends at absolutely anytime. I would prefer to take care of children in the Ridgewood(Queens), Glendale(Queens), and/or Williamsburg(Brooklyn) area. However, I am super flexible and can accommodate families from locations and/or times that are scheduled outside of my preference. A bit more about me: I enjoy doing arts and crafts projects or any hands-on activities, playing puzzle games, word searches, watching rom-com or kid friendly films, going to the park, movies, shopping, exploring the city, singing, and dancing to pop songs from the 80s-00s. I’m an extremely responsible, punctual, fun loving, and dedicated individual who wants children to learn, laugh, and play in the comfort of their own home. That is how their creativity and imagination can flourish, and it brings me immense joy in being a part of that process for them.
