Description
Rossoblu's Chef Steve Samson & guest Chef Barbara Pollastrini - The Sustainable Future of "True Italian Taste" The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West is curating a three-part dinner series in Los Angeles celebrating “True Italian Taste." A trio of themes tackle Italy’s rich culinary narrative and are presented by esteemed restaurants across the city—Angelini Osteria, N10 and Rossoblu. Each will serve a custom, one-night-only menu that reflects a distinct time period—from a chapter in Italy’s storied history, contemporary authentic dishes and protected ingredients, and a look into the future landscape of Italian cuisine. On Thursday, August 26, Rossoblu's Chef Steve Samson presents a "True Italian Taste" collaborative dinner event focused on the future of Italian Cuisine with guest Chef Barbara Pollastrini. Rossoblu restaurant pays homage to Chef Steve Samson’s heritage in Bologna and his life in the city of Los Angeles, and this collaborative dinner event contemplates the future of Italian Cuisine with a focus on sustainability, locality, and superfoods. Together with guest Chef Pollastrini—a native Roman and appointed Ambasciatrice del Gusto (Ambassador of Taste)—the family-style menu incorporates time-honored techniques with a sensitivity toward locality, seasonality, and sustainability. The evening is a unique collaboration presented by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West, focused on promoting unique chefs, restaurants and their narratives that bridge Italian food traditions and culture with modern American culinary life.
