Hello friends,  We are inviting the the Fashion and Dance Press, Bloggers, Journalists, Magazine Editors to come and take a glimpse of this interesting collaboration of Fashion and Dance at Dixon Place Theater, 161A Chrystie Street, NY 10002 at 1:30 p.m. on SEPTEMBER 7th, TUESDAY.  StylePointe is the ONLY Fashion Show collaborating with dance companies during the Fall 2021 New York Fashion Week.  We are excited that this year that the legendary designer Byron Lars will be presenting looks from his Fall 2021 Collection and the Holiday Collection together with fashion accessories by Sheila Gray Collection. Other featuring fashion designers: Goksu Guneylioglu, Jingwen Xuan, Renita Biddle, Runtan Du, Wanyu Shao. For television team, a special permission will be given for recording the Run Through, please ask! If you are not with the press or the media, you are requested to buy the tickets to the public events happening on September 10th, Friday and September 11th, Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at: http://dixonplace.org/performances/stylepointe-2021/ Early bird discount code 'SAVE5' is available until August 31st.  ABOUT THE FASHION SHOW: Dixon Place and Creative Performances are proud to present StylePointe, a unique project exploring the relationship between Fashion and Dance.  Bringing together two of NYC's most vibrant institutions, StylePointe, a NYFW event, is a platform for emerging and established fashion designers to showcase their designer collection in collaboration with professional dance choreographers. Producer Sangeeta Yesley and co-curator Mariana Leung have invited emerging and established fashion designers with complete collections to submit work samples for this unique annual showcase. A series of wonderful collections were selected with diverse backgrounds and paired with choreographers representing various dance styles who then created unique dance vignettes and assembled professional dancers to showcase telling the story behind each of the fashion collections.   This hybrid performance will have a runway to catwalk and a floor to dance. Dixon Place lounge opens at 6:15 pm for a Special Cocktail Hour. VIP patrons will have exclusive seating and receive special product samples from product sponsors. The duration of the show is approximately 60 minutes. Sangeeta is an independent producer of arts and entertainment events with a background in dance.  She loves producing hybrid events/ shows exploring relationships between dance and other art forms.  She is the Founder/Director of Creative Performances.  Her projects include StylePointe Fashion Show, NYC Drawing the Dance Workshop and Dixon Connect – Networking for everyone creative.  She is a dance curator at Dixon Place, NYC, curating Fast Forward (8 shows a year), 8 in Show (4 shows a year) and 30-30-30, an End of Year Dance Benefit.  Sangeeta strives to create platforms to help emerging artists in NYC progress in their professional careers.
