Help Clean Up MLK Drive in Bronzeville! This week we are headed to Bronzeville and will be cleaning up MLK Drive! We intend to clean from 43rd St to Pershing Road, but the exact blocks will depend on how many people sign up. Please note: for safety and liability reasons, Cleanup Club does not allow any volunteers under the age of 12. Meeting Location: The corner of 43rd St and MLK Drive. We'll set up supplies and meet on the boulevard on the northwest corner (more instructions to follow for those who register). Supplies: We will have grabbers, bags, and some protective gloves. We recommend that everyone please bring their own water, sunscreen, gloves, and any 5 gallon buckets (or larger) they might have to help contain the trash. Social Gathering: We will be heading to Little Sandwich House afterward for lunch and a chance to hang out with your fellow cleanup volunteers! This is not required, but everyone is invited to attend. It will start around 12:15 PM and go from there. :)
