Description

Feeling is what allows us to be hUman.Expression is our birth right.Releasing is how we compassionately move forward. Find freedom in dance. Come on a journey of self expression as we move our bodies and open up to the heart. Be gently led through exercises to encourage connection. Then find freedom in movement that serves you, as there will be no choreography or steps to learn. We will explore the Azul's three emotional keys, which are Feeling, Expressing and Releasing. This safe place will allow energies to be been seen and processed without attachment so we can leave feeling centered and liberated in very sense! Step into our lives and the world after this experience with wider perspective, lighter energy, and clarity to express ourselves. Non dancers are strongly encouraged to join. Our goal is to allow healing, with the body as our guide. Other than occasional guidance from the facilitator, expect not talk on the dance floor; this allows us to let go of our thinking minds for a bit and tap into the flow. The space will be held by Deann Macomson. Deann has training and many years facilitating group drumming. With drumming came dancing. Deann noticed many healing moments on the dance floor when experiencing how many issues can come up by deeply connecting through dance. The work and the freedom were one in the same as she was able to move through the discomfort and feel the bliss that she now wants to share with others.
