Trade show apprentice/carpentry experience

Responsibilities
Must provide and maintain a clean DMV driving record
Knowledge of how to work to deliver high-quality, finished fixtures and woodwork for trade shows
Build and laminate custom pieces when necessary, counters, shelves, cubes, etc
Knowledge working with Sintra, acrylic, laminate
Refurbish damaged inventory
Build custom crates
Maintenance and organization of the warehouse
Participate in the detailed and careful packing of trade show booths, exhibit materials, and audiovisual equipment
Make sure all skids are packed and shrink wrapped properly
Coordinate the loading and unloading of company trucks properly securing the freight
Prep booths in time to make deliveries
Drive / coordinate shipments to be delivered and picked up from the convention Centers (marshaling)
Verify dates and times of installation and dismantle
Basic computer skills required.
Skills necessary in:
Table saw
Skill saw
Router
Laminating
Wood fabrications as related to furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures fabrication.
Ability to work in a cold/warm warehouse environment around moving equipment
Ability to stand on feet for 6-8 hours per day
Ability to reach about and below shoulder, push and/or pull, kneel, squat, bend/twist, and climb ladders.
Experience Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred) Laminating: 2 years (Preferred)
