Come and taste wines from ONX Estate Vineyard, home to complex rocky soils located in the Templeton Gap District of Paso Robles. Located in Templeton Gap, ONX Estate Vineyard is home to complex soils, views of the historic Santa Rita Creek, and some of the most dynamic temperature swings in the Paso Robles AVA. The soils at ONX Estate are a complex mix of rocky alluviums. Large rocks mostly of calcareous sedimentary origin are scattered throughout the site. Sandy, gravelly loams define most of the property and provide excellent drainage for vine roots. The winemaking and vineyard teams strategically coordinated “micro blocks” to pair rootstock and grape varieties to the diverse soil, elevation, and sun exposure. The 57.2 acres are currently planted with 18 varieties. The singular site makes for a complex wine in your glass.
