Are you an expecting parent, but aren’t completely sure what to expect in the birthing space? Join our class for tips and info to prepare! Peace & Blessings! Welcome to Willowing Aya Doula Services second childbirth series! It is led by Kwaeisi Golliday, the founder of Willowing Aya. In this class prepare to learn the stages of labor, how to plan for your desired birth experience, ways to prepare your postpartum period, and fill your birthing toolbox with tools of support in the birthing space. It is our goal that by the end of the 4 week series you all leave feeling refreshed, knowledge, and comfortable going into your birthing space. Power to the People, Inc. was created by Arkansas native, Kwaeisi Golliday, in the Spring 2017. Since then, PTTP has completed three of its planned annual events in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Going into 2018, Kwaeisi Golliday is completing the application process to further establish PTTP in the Jefferson County area. She is currently a graduate student in the Addiction Studies Program at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and has a BA in both psychology and anthropology from the University of Missouri-Columbia (May 2016). She loves the youth and wants to see the community progress and is willing to do what it takes to make sure that progression happens.
