Published on August 20, 2021 The City of Miami - with the direct assistance of the Miami Police Department and the Department of Fire-Rescue - is now accepting donations to assist victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti at select fire stations across the city. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, District 5 City Commissioner Jeffrey Watson and District 4 Commissioner Manolo Reyes officially kicked off the donation drive today during a press conference at Notre Dame d'Haiti Catholic Church in the heart of Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood. Rev. Fr. Reginald Jean-Mary and Fr. Youry Jules from Notre Dame d'Haiti also spoke at the press conference.
