Press release from the City of Glen Cove: Shannon Vulin August 21, 2021 Good Afternoon. This is Mayor Tenke with a Tropical Storm Henri update.  The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Long Island due to the potential effects of Tropical Storm Henri.  Heavy rains, storm force winds and storm surge may be anticipated on Sunday, August 22nd from 5:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m., so be prepared with flashlights, water, and emergency supplies.
