We are a hike guiding business that has been in business for over 4 years, guiding hikes in the Rocky Mountains near Denver. Looking for a part time hiking guide to work 1-3 days per week, 5-6 hour shifts. Hikes are relatively short (2-4 hours) and meant for all abilities. Responsibilities: - Guide 2-4 hour long hikes, typically starting at 9am with group lunch after hike - Share knowledge about Denver area, nature, history and geography - Drive up to 4 hikers from meeting spot in Golden, to and from trailhead - Facilitate conversations with out of town and local hikers Qualifications: - Familiar with hiking trails in greater Denver area - Knowledgeable about nature, flora/fauna, geography, history of Denver area - First Aid training - Responsible and reliable - Must have reliable car and be willing to drive other hikers - Must have clean driving record - Must be a good people person - Must be available to work on Saturdays Pay is competitive, between $60-$300 per hike
