Looking for people who love working with kids in a fun, safe, active environment! Kids' Nite Out Across America is a fun, safe, active place for kids ages 7-14 to come and hang out! We operate either Friday or Saturday nights depending on the facility/location. We are looking for Adventure Guides to help facilitate games and be a positive role model to the youth in our community! Our program serves a large number of kids each weekend and our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, lots of energy, and the ability to multi-task well while keeping their area safe. Fridays- [6 pm- 10:45 pm] City Park Recreation Center (Westminster, CO) Fridays [6 pm-10:45 pm]- Paul Derda Recreation Center (Broomfield, CO) Some of the areas we are hiring for include: Adventure Guide- Sports Enthusiast- Running sports tournaments and games in the gym areas- Encouraging positive sportsmanship between all participants. A typical night in this position could have you shooting hoops and playing around the world, refereeing a football tournament, and then getting to burn last minute energy with an exciting game of dodgeball! Adventure Guide- Creative Master- Facilitating a variety of arts and crafts projects each week. Encouraging kids to be creative and try new art mediums. A typical night in the position may have you following step by step instructions to make origami or helping kids make beautiful fuse bead creations (one of our group's favorites). The role of the Music Maestro is to facilitate all music and movement games during the program. We offer fun and exciting games like dance contests, name that song, freeze dance, musical chairs, parachute games, hula hoop contests and more. A great candidate for this position is high energy, enthusiastic about music and has a welcoming personality. The role of the Gaming Superstar is to facilitate our game room area each night. Activities in this area include, but are not limited to video games, tournaments, board games, scavenger hunts, foosball, ect. A great candidate for this position is able to multitask, facilitate great sportsmanship, and provide assistance for kids less familiar with video games.
