Press release from the School City of Hammond: August 20, 2021 Dear SCH Families: We want to thank our new and returning families for their patience and understanding as we all navigate the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. Above all, we're committed to the education of our students and are so excited to see them back in the classroom. As with any other school district, the first few days can present challenges that we must immediately address. One significant issue facing SCH is transportation. The district office is working directly with the transportation department to address the problems and deliver seamless transportation to the students we serve. How are we doing this?
