Wheeling Bicyclist Killed In Glenview Hit-And-Run Crash

GLENVIEW, IL — A Wheeling man, who was riding his bicycle, was killed after being struck by a car early Saturday near Sanders Road and South Parkway Drive. Trinidad Salgado, 59, was taken to Luther General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead No car was located at the scene of the 3:10 a.m. crash, according to the Glenview Police Department. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined and no charges have been filed. The crash remains under investigation by the Glenview Police Department with assistance from the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force's Major Crash Assistance Team.
