Jazz Band Seeking Sax / Guitar

Our band currently consists of a trumpet, piano, bass, and drums. We would like to add a Sax or Guitar. Only jamming is not what we are looking for, as we prefer playing live local gigs. I played in Big Bands and small Jazz ensembles, and have been wanting to get a group together for a while. Our group has been rehearsing for a several months. Our main preference would be to perform at local coffee shops, bars, restaurants, local events, and possibly places like the Nash. We are looking for musicians who are interested in playing gigs, preferably in the East Valley. Our interests include a variety of Jazz including: Standards, Cool Jazz, Bebop, Big Band, Small group repertoire, Latin Jazz / Bossa. We are currently mainly playing a lot of Standards, but we are not opposed to branching out into some Fusion. Located in the East Valley and we have access to a rehearsal space.
