Are you seeking to homeschool teach/tutor your child and/or a group of children in a pod setting for the 2021-2022 school year, given the evolving situation with Covid-19 and school protocols? Homeschool tutor/teacher available to serve your needs. I am a certified veteran elementary teacher with fifteen years of teaching experience within grades: 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, as a homeroom teacher and as a Science/STEM specialist. I have worked in both the public and private school sector, and last year worked as a 2nd grade homeschool pod teacher with a group of six students. I would be glad to furnish you with my pod family’s references upon request. Adept at designing a standards-based, engaging, rigorous, flexible and individualized program tailored to your child’s needs, I can either provide materials for you, or work with any curriculum you prefer or provide, aligned to New York State standards. I can either work in-person with your child (or a small pod) in your home, or can support your child remotely, with their school’s virtual curriculum while providing supplemental enrichment activities. I am vaccinated and adhere to strict covid-protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. Hours and pay are negotiable.
