BIRMINGHAM, AL — Friday is opening night for high school football all across the state of Alabama, and for those who know, the next couple of months will be exciting and fun, with the 2021 football season underway! So far, just a cpuple of local games have been canceled due to COVID-19 issues, which was a major factor last season as well. We shall see how the pandemic affects the 2021 season as we move forward. That said, all games are subject to cancellation or postponement amid the lingering pandemic. Here is this weekend's slate of games:
