ISO seasoned musicians experienced in the Christian life, who are blessed with the strong ability to sing harmonies, are masterful players of their instrument(s), and love to collaborate with like-minded artisans who love Jesus. Not interested in covers or praise and worship. We will be performing original tunes most closely resembling “New” Grass skillfully played on traditional blue grass instruments. Think Union Station. Acoustic sounds and cool harmonies, great songs with interesting lyrics, melodies, and surprising chord progressions delight our audience. We are a versatile group in musical styles – blue grass, folk, pop, Celtic, gospel, old hymns and spirituals, new and contemporary songs reflecting our times... Our original tunes are thought provoking while carrying a spiritual meaning that honors our Creator. We are story tellers. We engage our audience and get them to think because there is always a story behind every song. This is my vision. Maybe it’s yours, too. I am a grandma in my early ‘60s…a child of 70s music influenced everywhere from Gordon Lightfoot to Black Sabbath. I play several instruments, sing lead and harmonies. I have played with musicians of all ages, but if older people aren’t your thing, I trust you will find a more suitable group here on Craigslist.
