Professional Violin Lessons: All Ages/Skill Levels

My name is Camille and I’m a professional violinist with 2 decades of experience on my instrument and 5 years of teaching experience! I’m offering lessons at $45 per hour, first lesson free. As a performer, I’ve had the honor to work with such artists as the Punch Brothers, the St Lawrence String Quartet, Fabian Almazan and other acclaimed artists in the folk/jazz/classical realms of music performance. I’ve worked as an administrator and coach for music summer festivals, and I’ve toured for the past 4 years with my string quartet. I specialize in jazz, classical and fiddle styles. I love helping people work with styles they are interested in, and teaching music in a way that fosters creativity and encourages individual exploration. This includes working with students on arrangements of their favorite songs, helping students compose their own songs, guiding students on how to play music with others, and teaching students to use improvisation as a way to express themselves and improve self confidence with music.
