My wife and I have had our ferret Lola for about 4 years, she loves to play and eat anything with peanut butter. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats and she plays with all of them. My wife and I both are working 60-70 hour weeks at the moment and just can not provide her the attention she needs. She is cage trained and will use a litter box around the house. My wife and I keep her out of the cage for weeks at a time and she uses the cat litter box, as well as eats the cat food. It hurts me to have to get rid of her but she deserves more attention.
