Mostly-indoor male cat, escaped night of 8/5 in Newport Riviera/Brittanywoods. He may be hiding in a corner of your garage, under your deck/crawl space, in thick bushes/ivy, even on the skid plate under your SUV. There have been three likely sightings by neighbors so far: he will hesitantly start coming up to a person, but then gets scared off by the many dogs in the area. He goes into cautious-cat survival mode and makes no noise. (Yes, he knows there are coyotes in the area and that's why he's hiding...most likely by a home that does not have a dog.) "Cats don't go far, unless they got in a car."
On advice of a professional pet finder, we ask neighbors to please, please contact us if:
-Your dog/cat detects an unusual smell in some place that a cat might hide (they have better noses than we do!)
-You smell a funky odor in your garage/shed/crawl space.
If you're willing, shine a flashlight in the dark corners of your yard and garage at night and look for glowing cat eyes.
IF YOU SEE HIM TAKE A PHOTO. $50 REWARD for any photo confirmed to be him! Additional reward if he's on your property and you work with us to help lure or trap him. LET'S BRING ZUKO HOME!
Description: Tabby with white paws and belly, neutered, about 12 lbs.
