leopard gecko in need of help

my roommate has a leopard gecko in poor condotion. i tried to help the gecko out as much as possible by buying a bigger tank new equipment ext. but the lack of care from my roommate is forcing me too look for someone with reptile  experience to take over. i dont have the time for a gecko with my three dogs so the best person for the job can take him for free but must ensure a recovery for him. i know its not too late.
