Dash is a 3-year-old purebred Sphynx cat. He is a “bambino”, meaning that he has the same genetic mutation as a dachshund, so his legs are short. He is adorable. He does well with dogs and other cats. He does not bother birds. His best life would include lying in the sun and snuggling with his human under the blankets. We hoped Dash would sire some kittens for us. He took to the task with enthusiasm but alas, no kittens. He is now retired. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Sphynx cats require regular baths, ear cleaning and protection from the sun. Dash has feline viral rhinotracheitis (FVR). This is not like feline leukemia and is not life threatening. It does cause him to have watery eyes and occasional sneezing and it is contagious to other cats. He is tolerant of regular face washing with a warm washcloth. There is a rehoming fee of $200.
