We are not here to kiss your butt, only to kick it if that’s what you need. Our Job Opening: bravoFit is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team! The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the ongoing maintenance at facilities primarily in the Portland, OR metro area and Salem, OR, but may include occasional over the phone or on-site support for facilities in Southern or Central Oregon;  reacting to emergency situations as they arise;  completing preventive maintenance as scheduled or directed by immediate supervisor, and ensuring that facilities are maintained in a safe, inviting condition. The Facilities and Equipment Technician is also responsible for engaging local vendors for completing repairs they cannot do, assist in inspections of renovations and new construction and will also have frequent conversations and communications with facility staff and facility leadership.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Initiate and oversee routine and preventative Facility and Equipment maintenance. Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishing and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs. Physically complete repairs as needed in the Facilities assigned to them. Repair drywall, paint interior/exterior surfaces, install and repair door locks/hardware, carpet, and tile issues. Simple repairs as certified on Fitness equipment under warranty. Operate a laptop computer and smartphone for the purposes of collecting work orders, producing schedules and submitting time and action records, and managing expenses Communicate and interact with Facility staff and leadership teams on an ongoing basis Operates a company vehicle for completing assigned tasks Provide and maintain a safe environment for the members of our facilities.  Monitor performance of outside vendors. Review contractor bids for services. Responsible for emergency services through on-call system 24/7. KEY COMPETENCIES  Ability to work under pressure Strong professional communication Self-motivated Able to work with limited supervision WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some weekends or evening hours necessary in emergency situations. QUALIFICATIONS  Education: High school diploma or equivalent Trade/Vocational training Experience: Three years or more of on the job experience in maintenance preferably with practice in an exercise facility environment. Other: Valid driver’s license with and acceptable motor vehicle record per company policy. Experience with Google Docs
