Jasmine is beautiful Great Pyrenees-Maremma mix, who just turned 3 months old. We have raised livestock guardian breeds in the past but realize now, with much sorrow, that as seniors we no longer have the energy to raise a pup. Her forever home needs to be with a younger family. Although full of puppy energy and mischief, she lets us know when she needs to go out and generally sits and comes on command (after thinking about it for a while, like a Great Pyr will do--they are independent thinkers!). She will walk on a leash if you let her hold it at least part of the time (maybe she is walking us?). She is trying real hard to make friends with the resident cat. She was bred to be a working dog. Photos of mom (100 pounds) and dad (120 pounds) are attached. Also attached are photos at 11, 10, and 8 weeks of age. Although we would like to recoup as a rehoming fee what we just paid to adopt her, we are more concerned about placing her with someone who knows the quirks of this breed, can offer her a fenced area to run, and will commit to providing her a forever home.
