Day Porter Job Description: We are seeking an energetic and reliable day porter to perform day-to-day building janitorial services. Overall duties will include maintaining common room areas, trash removal, restroom and kitchen cleaning and restocking. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. You will work with management to create an effective cleaning schedule, which will include your day-to-day routines and work timetable. Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) a plus but not required. Responsibilities: - Spot check and clean as necessary reception/lobby entrance doors, partition glass throughout. - Maintain entrance areas and remove debris/sweep as necessary. - Empty trash in common areas, wipe clean replace liners, remove boxes. - Keep common area hallways and corridors clean and neat. - Place replenishment orders and restock supplies as necessary - Disinfect/Clean high touch surfaces throughout. - Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies in restrooms throughout the day. - Maintain cleanliness of kitchens. - Replenish paper plates and plastic utensils. - Wipe clean gym equipment with disinfectant. Electrostatic Spray. - Maintain Coffee service throughout the day - Other duties as assigned by management Requirements: Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required. High school diploma or relevant qualification required. 6 – 12 months porter experience. Able to work Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm. Some overtime required. Must be reliable and professional. Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner.
