If you do not have polio, typhoid, diphtheria, or the Spanish flu, you owe that gratitude to vaccines. Epidemics and pandemics come around every couple of decades. And for the past hundred years, every one of these pandemics is cured by a vaccine. It took a handful of doctors with zero funding, no computers and no support from laboratories, two years to develop a vaccine for polio. So how is it so hard for some people to believe that the entire global medical community backed by unlimited funding and super computers could develop a vaccine for covid in 8 months. given the technology, the funding, and the aid of technology, I am surprised it took so long to develop the covid19 vaccine.
