NOW HIRING!!! NOW HIRING!!! NOW HIRING!!! We are looking for an experienced Lead Technician for Landscaping. Reliable and personal with a detail oriented nature. Able to work well independently. Landscape technicians must love working outdoors in different types of weather, enjoy physical labor, and have an interest in plants and trees. Responsibilities: -Provide satisfactory service for home and business owners. -Maintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survival. -Rake fallen leaves and remove debris. -High attention to detail when performing lawn maintenance or designing gardens is an important aspect of being a landscape technician. -From addressing and treating plant diseases to overcoming design issues, landscape technicians need to display strong problem-solving skills on a daily basis. -The ability to communicate with customers, such as explaining landscape care or procedures to be carried out during a routine visit and writing up paperwork and service orders, reflect the verbal and written communication skills landscape technicians must possess -Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, sprinklers, etc. -Maintaining outdoor spaces by keeping the area clean, healthy and attractive; fertilizing and taking care of plants, lawns and other areas -Estimate time, materials, and equipment required for jobs assigned; requisition materials as required. -Perform special projects as assigned. -Perform related duties as required. Qualifications: -Must have at least 2 years experience as Lead Landscaping Technician. -Knows how to install and remove sod, shrubs, trees, mulch and rocks etc. -Must be well versed in installing hardscape or landscape projects and related trades. -Ability to perform heavy and physically demanding work for lengthy and continuous periods of time. -Experience safely operating commonly used landscape maintenance equipment and tools such as but not limited to: mower, edger, blower, hedge trimmer, line trimmer, chain saw, rake, shovel, hoe, broom, and other related landscape maintenance equipment and tools. -Can operate and perform general maintenance using ride-on mowers, weed trimmers, and chemical spray equipment is essential for landscape technicians -Previous experience in landscaping or ground keeping is needed. - Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safety regulations related to equipment operation, traffic patterns and conditions, and other work related precautions.
