The Alliance worked with educators 7 years ago on developing a tool for 4th through 10th grade math teachers to demonstrate relevancy in what they are teaching in the workplace. Educators were frustrated by the question many of their students asked them "When am I ever going to use this in the real world?" Due to so many science teachers requesting videos focused on their core subject, this year the Alliance will launch for the first time ever "Get Real Science" videos too. Educators attending the event will have a chance to win five - $500 cash awards for their math or science departments, plus other prizes. Industry will have a chance to win the opportunity for their company to be featured in two Get Real Math or Get Real Science videos that will be filmed in 2022.
