Dos Amigos Landscaping is a regional landscape contractor located in Charlottesville, VA. For the last 17 years, Dos Amigos has provided high quality landscape services to Charlottesville and the surrounding areas. Our company has a Turf, Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Installation, Hardscapes and Drainage division. At present, we seek to add another Turf and Ornamental Spray Tech. The technician is responsible for properly mixing and applying herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides to trees, lawns, shrubs, or botanical crops. Quality outcomes and great client communications paramount.
The ideal candidate for this position has 1-3 years of quality turf and ornamental experience, Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association certification, spray licenses thru VDACS including ornamentals. A degree in Horticulture and/or Turf science would be a plus and increase pay opportunities. In addition to Spray Technician work, this position would be working with other members of our Turf Management Team on fall aeration and overseeding. General landscape knowledge is a must as there will be times when this person assists our landscaping and mowing crews.
The successful candidate would also possess some computer skills, great communication skills and a proven track at previous jobs. The client base includes approximately 50% residential and 50% commercial clients. A valid Virginia drivers license is a must.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience.
