Beginner mold-making: Open face molds In this beginner-level class you’ll learn about: - Platinum- vs tin- cure silicone and which to choose - Shore hardness or what do these numbers mean? - Different kinds of molds and which to choose - how to make a mold box to hold your silicone - what you can make a mold from You’ll go home with your own mold, suitable for casting resin, soap or wax. You may bring an object of your own to make a mold from, or use one of ours. If you want to bring your own, please bring nothing larger than a bar of soap, and make sure there’s a flat edge. Message me for approval if you want to make sure it’s suitable. Proof of vaccination required. You may email this ahead of time to [email protected] Masks and social distancing enforced.
