Prune with Confidence! An Introduction to Tree Pruning Prune with confidence! Certified arborist Tom Quigley will lead a hands-on, 90 minute pruning demonstration and workshop on the 21 Acres farm. Get ready to get up close and personal with these trees—you will be working hands-on with landscape trees while learning to prune vine maple, willow, oak, linden, and a variety of evergreen trees. Bring your questions—discussion will include a review of tools and techniques, with lots of time for Q & A. Limited to 15 people per session. This workshop will be held outdoors on slightly uneven ground. Please wear good footwear with closed toe shoes. It’s recommended to bring your own safety goggles and pruners (though pruners will also be provided). This program is provided for free. A donation of between $25-$35 is recommended.
