Technician - Part Time BOS Boston Logan International Airport Approximately 12 - 16 hours a week Hourly Rate $17.00 Evenings, weekends, and holidays required  COMPANY BACKGROUND Smarte Carte, Inc. is the leading concessionaire of self-serve vended luggage carts, electronic lockers, commercial strollers and massage chairs, as well as other passenger and guest services. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Routine preventative maintenance & inspection equipment Maintenance and inspection of Wheelchair Fleet Periodic Inventorying of Fleet Installation of new or replacement equipment as needed Managing positive customer relations Timely reporting; time-sheet & maintenance log, etc. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Basic understanding and working knowledge of common hand tools Excellent communication and customer service skills required Mechanical aptitude is required Knowledge of manual wheelchairs preferred, but not required Must be over 18 years of age Driver's License required Airport Badge required EDUCATION Associates or Technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lift 50 lbs. Walk and stand for duration of shift Bend and stoop regularly  Experience Required Basic understanding and working knowledge of common hand tools Preferred Knowledge of manual wheelchairs preferred Education Preferred Technical/other training or better Licenses & Certifications Required Airport Badge Skills Required Communication Time Management Troubleshooting Customer Service Preferred Flexibility Attention to detail Behaviors Required Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
