The position is fast paced and highly focused on the quality of the repair. The ability to explain how specific parts of the vehicle function is important, along with understanding and explaining the benefits of one type of auto part over another. The ultimate goal is to empower our customers to repair their vehicles themselves.      General Responsibilities • Automotive Repair • Detailed narrative of parts and automotive repair for the purpose of making a video that will be uploaded to the internet as a reference for consumers. • Represent the 1A Auto Brand of empowering people to “do it yourself” automotive repair. • Cleaning and maintaining the video studio including all tools, props, equipment, and operating video equipment. • Familiarizing themselves with products offered by 1A Auto and communicating with Product Management to suggest new products. • Ordering parts and shop supplies. • Maintaining a schedule of upcoming projects. • Move vehicles in and out of shop as needed. • Perform additional duties as assigned.   Educations/Qualifications • 3 years as a trained mechanic or involved in the hobby of fixing or restoring vehicles and able to articulate the repair process to an untrained person. • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Proficient computer user and knowledge of internet • A valid driver’s license   Please note: This job description is not all inclusive, but rather is intended to capture the majority of the job functions.
