Learn about intentional living, permaculture, and ecovillages, and celebrate the harvest at Angelica Village in Lakewood, Colorado. Celebrate Angelica Village and learn about permaculture at this donate-what-you-can workshop that benefits an intentional home for children/youth seeking refuge from war, families exiting homelessness and healers. Guided by permacultural educator Michael Alcazar, we will also construct planter boxes for use at the Governor's Mansion, care for the VIllage's fruit trees, and learn about ecovillage neighborhoods! Lunch basics will be provided and you are welcome to bring a dish or something from your garden to share. Brought to you by Angelica Village, Grow Local Colorado, and Urban Reclamation. We help make Denver a more resilient community and grow a perma-community with many facets. We teach and learn from each other and honor the permaculture principles of Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share.
