Join the Esplanade Association & Boston Music Project for this family-friendly, music & movement session part of Esplanade Community Day! Join the Esplanade Association and Boston Music Project at the Esplanade Playspace on the Esplanade for a family-friendly music and movement session for children and families of all ages! This session will take place on Sunday, August 29 from 11am to 12pm. Similar to our Saturdays at Stoneman sessions, this music & movement session is designed for children and their caregivers. Children will sing songs, dance to music, and enjoy storytime led by trained Boston Music Project teaching artists. Caregivers are encouraged to attend and take part in the music games with their children. When registering, caregivers should select tickets for both themselves and their child/children. This music and movement session is part of the Esplanade Association's first Esplanade Community Day on Sunday August 29, also featuring the Esplanade 5K Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts at 9am and a special GroundBeat Music Concert Featuring BAMS Fest at the Hatch Shell from 12pm to 4pm. We hope you and your family can join us for this progam-packed day on the Esplanade! We look forward to making music and moving with you on this special day! The Esplanade Playspace is located in just off the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge on the Esplanade. Please note that the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge is currently closed for renovations and may not be open on this date. The best points of access on the Esplanade that are a short distance to the Esplanade Playspace are the Frances Appleton Footbridge (connecting Charles Circle to the park) and the Dartmouth Street Footbridge.
