Fundamentals of Photography
If you want to create better photographs, the first step is getting to know your camera. This 3-hour session will help you learn the basic fundamentals of digital photography, giving you a better control of the picture-taking process. Topics include: camera controls, camera modes, metering modes, ISO sensitivity, exposure (shutter speed and aperture), resolution, and essential composition skills. This is a hands-on workshop, with an opportunity to shoot, using the techniques you just learned in class.
What to Bring:
Camera: Digital SLR Camera or Advanced Point & Shoot Camera: Must accommodate full Manual exposure mode (allowing for full independent control of shutter speed and aperture) Camera: Manual Lenses: Bring what you have) Memory: Cards (blank and reformatted if possible)
