Ok, you know the lender requires a Title Policy but what is a Title Commitment? This class will help you gain a better underestanding of what the title commitment contains and the important things to look for in each of the schedules.
We will have a surprise guest for this class to help us navigate through the title commitment! One of your favorite escrow officers wil go step-by-step through each schedule so you know the importance of each schedule and the gotcha's to look for. Many “simple” matters are easily resolved by tasks that the closing team handles through the closing process. Knowing about these matters early in the process is key to a smooth closing. The title commitment isn't something to check off a list, it needs to be reviewed carefully.
Surveys, area and boundry exeptions, and T-47 Affidavit will also be covered in this class. No matter how long you have been a real estate agent, one minute or decades, this class is a must!
