Instructor Pedro Garcia will show actors the basics of self-taping with phone cameras for amateur or professional auditions. Pharr Community Theater presents a self-tape and audition workshop on Thursday, September 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday, September 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Development & Research Center in Pharr at 850 W. Dicker Rd. Instructor Pedro Garcia will show students the basics of self-taping with phone cameras for amateur or professional auditions. There will also be audition tips on realistic acting for film, commercials or theater. No materials required. Tickets can be purchased in advanced for $20 on tinyurl.com/pctauditioning and $25 at the door. Sales are limited to 25 per class. COVID-19 safety will be encouraged. He has directed and acted in over 150 plays & Films combined since 1987. He's appeared on Film & TV shows including; Tejano, Queen of the South, Fast & Furious Five, Breaking Bad, Halt & Catch Fire, & Mad Love. Currently he resides in Pharr, TX and is the Artistic Director for the Pharr Community Theater Co.
