WHO are these stealthy hunters of the night? We will explore different kinds of owls that can be found at the park and take a night hike!
Mount Greylock offers wild habitat to six species of this member of the bird family that has evoked awe and wonder for centuries. Join the park interpreters to investigate the mysterious Barred Owl and some of his friends. We will do some hands on investigation as we talk about how these birds hunt. We will also go for a walk through the forest calling owls that are hiding in the treetops.
Come prepared with your flashlight, hiking shoes, and be ready to learn about these perching predators.
