Description

Get a special look at our newest Living History Documentary, Catawba 100: Our Century on the River with Reporter Jeff Sonier. PBS Charlotte is proud to present a special free screening of our newest local documentary in our Living History Series, Catawba 100: Our Century on the River, Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 7:00 p.m. in Central Piedmont’s Tate Hall with a brief discussion by Reporter Jeff Sonier on the making of the documentary. From the mountain headwaters of Catawba Falls, to the old stone walls of Landsford Canal, the Catawba River crosses two states and two hundred miles -- flowing past our Carolina communities, and through our Carolina history. Get set to get wet, cruising the Catawba and a hundred years of scrapbook stories and natural glories. Space is limited. As part of Central Piedmont, we follow guidelines set by the college. As of August 2, the college is requiring face coverings whenever persons are moving through or gathering in indoor common areas. To learn more about this announcement, read the August 2 college update about the coronavirus and safety protocols by clicking here.
