Course Description:
This is the class to take if you are new to decorated cookies or want to refine your skills. We will teach you how to make delicious shortbread sugar cookies for decorating. You will learn how to make the cookie dough and how to cut/bake/store/freeze shaped cookies the professional way. You will also learn how to make royal icing and how to flood cookies.
This is a hands-on class. You will be doing the activities in this class with the help of your instructors.
This class includes a detailed handout with recipes and troubleshooting tips.
Must be 18 years or older.

Jenean Carlton is the Executive Chef for Carlton’s Cakes. She is a professional cake artist, sugar artist, and pastry chef with 13 years of experience in the industry. Sadie Coleman is Assistant Pastry Chef for Carlton’s Cakes. She has worked with Carlton’s Cakes since 2018 and is skilled with cookie decorating, cake artistry, baking and more.
