Fundraiser Dinner to Uplift the Voices of refugee-Afghan Women, sharing their experience under the Taliban regime. Afghan women and girls have been erased from Afghanistan's streets, they've been forced inside their homes in fear of the Taliban. If we do not support them now, they may lose their voice permananetly. Women represent more than half the population and all development will be impossible without their involvment or their active participation. However, the recent horrific events in Afghanistan, threaten the basic human rights of Afghan women. We're hosting a fundraiser dinner to uplift the voices of refugee Afghan women that have prevously experienced the horrors of life under the Taliban regime. These women hope to share their stories to give voice to the women in Afghanistan that have been silenced.
