Teaching with Heart! Social-Emotional Learning and the Preschool Classroom Preschool is a time of rapid growth and development for young children. While they are learning their numbers, colors and shapes, they are also learning how to share, take turns and create new friendships. In our presentation, we will explore the importance of social-emotional learning for young children. We will also share five tangible tips that childcare providers may use to embed social-emotional learning. The training event will be held at the Florence Family YMCA on Saturday - August 28, 2021 at 10:00 am. The event has been approved by SC Endeavors for 4 hours in Child Guidance. Please note: We will also be offering Blood Borne Pathogens training at 2:00 pm.
