90-Minute Cruise of Historical Stonington, CT Come aboard our open-air Carolina Skiff and cruise historical Stonington Harbor with one of our entertaining and knowledgeable captains. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the natural environment and listen to stories of the past and present unique to Fisher's Island Sound. Passengers may bring non-alcoholic beverages aboard, but no food or alcohol is permitted. This cruise is an opportunity not to be missed; come and see historic Stonington Borough from a whole new angle! Stonington Harbor Sunset Cruises are available Friday & Saturday evenings. All cruises are by reservation only. Adult passengers are $25 for the experience, while children 12 and under are $20 (children 2 & under free). Check-in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time and dress in layers for a cool on-the-water experience. We have limited the capacity on each tour due to COVID-19 restrictions. Face coverings are required when on NESSie. New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) is an ocean adventure nonprofit that provides STEM-based education programs, on and off the water, for students from all walks of life. NESS uses sailing, marine science, powerboating, and adventure sports as teaching platforms. We engage everyone in experiential learning that builds confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills vital to their futures. Marine sciences, adventure sports, powerboating, and sailing are platforms for inquiry-based learning, personal discovery, teaching respect and responsibility for the sea, and creating connections with the community. NESS operates year-round with families, schools, and organizations to provide high-quality programs that blend an innovative curriculum with exciting ocean adventure activities.
