After the long Labor Day weekend join a beach cleanup and help keep our ocean clean. Stay for the volunteer appreciation cookout after.
Keep Nassau Beautiful is partnering with our friends Nassau County Fire and Rescue L3101, Fernandina Beach Fire and Rescue, and Amelia Island Beach Ambassadors to help cleanup beaches and beach parks after the long Labor Day Weekend. Volunteer to help us clean up before the litter hits our precious ocean. Site Captains will be available at 4 locations.
Please register so Keep Nassau Beautiful can provide ample materials to each site, and NCFR L3101 can prepare a count for the cookout which begins at 11am, Peters Point Beach Park!
Reusable supplies will be sanitized before and after. Single-use supplies and hand sanitizer will be available. If you feel safer using your own supplies, please bring them. Mask wearing is your choice. We will be respecting the social distancing regulations and encourage everyone to only do what feels best for themselves. We also recommend sunscreen or hat, and a reusable water bottle. Together, let's Keep Nassau County and the waters that surround us BEAUTIFUL!
The mission of Keep Nassau Beautiful is to enable and educate the public in the reduction of litter and waste, increase in recycling, and the beautification of public spaces in Nassau County FL.
