Looking forward to Shane and his band making their first appearance in Winona. This should be a night of wonderful, familiar music. Shane Martin is quickly becoming one of the top draws in the Midwest with a unique blend of modern country rock routinely performing over 200 shows per year as a solo artist and with his full band. From sharing the stage with numerous national acts to captivating audiences at festivals or in a packed venue, Martin's concerts are a high energy good time that gets crowds on their feet dancing, singing along and always leave them wanting more… “Shane is a great singer songwriter on the teetering edge of country, pop, and rock where it's just dangerous enough to be fun,” Nashville EMMY award winning engineer/producer Kenny Royster. In 2020 Martin and his band started an Alabama Tribute called “Songs Of The South”. Martin states “We’ve had an Alabama medley in our set for quite some time that we love to perform and audiences enjoy. I’ve always admired Alabama’s timeless downhome songs and sweet harmonies and thought it would be great to put together an entire set of their music. It feels right at home when we sing one of their many hits and fits right in our wheelhouse with all the vocal harmonies. Adding to the band, I’ve recruited a top-notch fiddle/utility musician to get the full Songs of the South sound.” Hurry Back Productions provides performing arts, cultural, and educational programming and helps promote the arts in Winona and SE Minnesota. The Highway 61 Concert Series is an annual season of events typically running between September and May.
