Summit aimed at empowering youth with disabilities to own their future and plan for life after high school.
What does YOUR best life look like?
The summit is designed for those age 14-26 who have disabilities as well as family members, educators and service providers who offer support and provide services for youth transitioning to adult life. Breakout sessions, peer panelists, lunch and vendors are on the agenda.
Missouri Parents Act (MPACT) is a non-profit that serves children with disabilities, their families, and communities throughout the state. MPACT has served as Missouri’s federally-funded Parent Training and Information Center since 1988. MPACT also works in collaboration with, and receives funding from, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).MPACT is committed to excellence as we provide FREE services and assistance to parents, families, and youth. Our mission is to empower families to advocate for themselves so that children with special educational needs can reach their full potential in education and life - through support, training, and education. MPACT staff and volunteers are located throughout Missouri and work with public and private agencies, parent groups, professional organizations and advocacy groups to achieve that goal.
