FRANKLIN, WI — A former bowling coach at the Franklin School District was sentenced to 60 days jail and three years probation Thursday for fourth-degree criminal assault, court records show. Judge Stephanie G. Rothstein sentenced Zachary Drabek, 22, on Thursday. Drabek, a former bowling coach in the Franklin School District, was charged in February 2019 after a student came forward. A criminal complaint said Drabek sexually assaulted the student in 2018 after developing a relationship with the survivor and family, according to a Journal Sentinel report. Drabek worked for the District for two summers. When he was initially charged it was for second degree sexual assault and stalking, the Journal Sentinel reported. The victim said Drabek inappropriately touched and then repeatedly messaged him until the crime was reported to police in February 2019, according to a CBS 58 report.
