Drummer looking for musicians to play funk

I'm a drummer in my early 40s. Looking for other musicians to play funk music. Some bands to cover or emulate are the Meters, Galactic, Papa Gros Funk, New Mastersounds, John Scofield, Dr. John, George Porter Jr., Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Neville Brothers. I'd like to do some songs with vocals and some without. Everyone has to be willing to sing some (at least some backup.) A beer or two at practice is fine. No drugs.
